    Get a refund.

It took about 3 weeks for them to respond to a refund request  (fine, it's corona times) and then some back and forth where they tried to steer me to an existing article I had already read and tried. They won't make changes like this, apparently, until it hurts their wallet not to do so. People in this forum (and also one on sound/"music" issues) have made a dozen excellent arguments for them to make these changes, but they have not listened. Kahoot is geared ONLY toward in person classroom learning for simultaneous play. Woefully, this neglects many of our students in the current distanced environment, for sure, but, as many have pointed out, is also a barrier for students with learning challenges or visual barriers. It's outrageous, and I won't support a software developer that ignores such accessibility issues.

In the age of distance learning and having special needs students. Make this feature an option!!!!! Please. It lessens the value of a membership not of offer it.

I would love Kahoot if it allowed the students to see both the questions and answers on their screen as we are attempting to provide distance learning.  This is a tool that my students absolutely love!  Unfortunately, we may have to move on to quiziz or quizlet, because I've heard that one of these platforms are making it more user friendly for digital learning.

I have been using Quizizz, which is better, although it lacks access ot the images that kahoot offers. It has it's issues, as well, but the questions can be seen on the screen, and you can turn off all but the sound that happens as you 'level up.' (Wish I could get rid of all the gamey things, as I have adult students.) I found Quizizz better than Quizlet for this current time.

During social isolation it is unpractical to ask every participant to use 2 devices. Some families don't have this many devices or parents need to use for home office etc.

The vision is create but not compactible with online classes which is what has become the new normal now. I can search my screen for students to read and answers but once they switch away from Zoom they cannot view my screen again. All they have on their device is colour and icon without the question and answers.

The option to see question and answer is needed, it's key for me to go premium

    thank you

Clearly the needs of many aren't being addressed by Kahoot.
During my PD this week at my school, I found Gimkit, which already has the ability to see choices on individual screens, built into it. Check it out: https://www.gimkit.com/
I am going to suggest this site to my son's teachers, since he has struggled with Kahoot for years due to difficulty with visual tracking. Hopefully this will be a big help for him in terms of decreasing his frustration. I know it'll help many who are struggling with this during virtual learning and who have wanted this feature in school/work/on-the-go settings .

I would like to add the feature to display text answers, and not just the symbol and colors for each student not heir device. Since we are virtual, student who do not have access to technology such a laptop or computer have been excluded from classroom activities. To be more inclusive at this time due tot he shelter in pace, I feel that this feature should be enabled. Teaching in low-income and under-served communities, often this demographic needs are excluded in many design features.

"When students have to look up to see questions and answers on a shared screen or projection in front of the room, they are more aware of each other and the result is often a powerful experience. They cheer and engage in conversation with their classmates around the educational content."

You understand that there isn't a single school that is operating like this right now, correct? You should make showing the questions/answers on the student screen an option for teachers to turn on/off at the very least, given the current circumstances!! Many of my 3rd graders (especially those with learning disabilities) are having a difficult enough time navigating the technology as it is- having to toggle back and forth between the screen I'm presenting and their own screen just adds to their frustration!!

It is extremely disappointing to come here and see that this has been a feature that teachers have been requesting for over a year, yet nothing has changed.

Not all students can access such an excellent learning tool during the online lessons. If they are remotely accessing online classroom, then not all their devices (particularly phones) can be used for Kahoots. If they have only answer options on their screens but no questions, reading it out loud is pointless. Please at least add the option to see questions! Kahoot! Wake up! Please adapt your platform for remote learning!

I JUST signed up last night. I didn't realize my students would need two devices or have to switch back and forth between screens. I have Kindergarteners who just barely have learned to navigate their laptops/phones/tablets. This games does not work for virtual learning. I hope you can fix this going forward. At least give people the OPTION to have players see the questions and answers on the same screen. People can choose which one they want.

This is absolutely ridiculous! It ignores those with disabilities or different capabilities. It assumes everyone has access to high tech devices that allow dual screens when this is played in a remote space like zoom. I can not believe that the importance of the "look up" culture is so important to them that they would ignore a whole population of learners. It would be as simple at making it an option for teachers to turn off or on depending on the needs of the learners AS IT SHOULD BE! As creators your not in our classrooms to understand the varying capabilities and access so why limit your product unnecessarily this is ridiculous and I am ashamed to even use this product by a company that simply doesn't care. BE BETTER!

Ok i understood i will not get this options and i'm already using quizzes. But what i don't undestand it's why we haven't get any answers from you. Why you don't care about teachers and students during this difficult period? Could you write your reasons to ignore us? Thank you

Agree with the comments above. This is a real impediment to using Kahoot in a virtual environment such as we're all experiencing right now. Students need to choose between watching the shared screen and watching their kahoot view. Having a view of the answer labels at least when using a desktop size view would make Kahoot appropriate for this sort of environment. As is, its close to useless.

I work with very poor students. And this was suppose to be a tool to make classes more fun and interactive. Most of them do not have a mobile, and they can't see the choices for the answers on the screen if they access the link through their computers so it just doesn't work. I read your explanation above and I just don't get it. Is it so hard to understand that it would be better to have the choices on screen so they only need their computers to play? Since I'm reading the comments  form one year ago it's pretty clear this issue is not in your road map

Why is it so difficult to make such option optional with an ON/OFF button? When I am in a class I can disable it but ON option can be really useful for distant learning. You do not need to be super highly technical to add such option to the site. I think even my 16 year old son can do it.

It is right; it is a good solution for "When students have to look up to see questions and answers on a shared screen or projection in front of the room". With COVID, this is no longer true; each student is alone in their own house unsupervised. I loved the experience that Kahoot gives, the pause after each question so I can solve all my students' doubts. I thought the most prominent problem was the delay in the video feed for those students with slow connections, but it was worst than that. In just a few weeks, I have realized that Kahoot is not the tool. They are massively copying and cheating. They use all kinds of tactics, cheating by voice, multiple clients per student, bots... The worst part is that when we return to the classroom, it will keep being a problem. They will keep using bots and other tools. They learned how to cheat Kahoot, and Kahoot let them.

I was planning on getting the Premium membership. Signed up for the 7-day trial. Took a few hours to make a Kahoot.

All that for nothing. Kahoot, without this feature, you're useless.

No need to look any further. Quizizz has just nailed it with a new function to do a presentation where people can see questions live on their devices. And you can also do it live.

During this lockdown situation, where we are forced to online teaching, and students not able to see the questions, and answers on their devices don't make this game-based learning any fun. They need to see the questions and answers to find themselves engaged in the activity and enjoy remote or distance learning during the lockdown. Please upgrade and fix this situation ASAP.

Many students really enjoy your program but it is heartbreaking to watch the students who are exceptional learners who struggle with the extra step that this company has added.  I'm looking into other programs that don't require this step but I am following this section in case you all add this important function for all learners.

Wow Kahoot! Way to NOT listen to your users! Its a bit arrogant to assume you know more than everyone who has begged for this option. Would it be difficult to add this option? Very frustrated because I just spent hours creating a kahoot and it will be really difficult for my audience of adults. Customer service means listening to your customers.

Way to make the games totally useless for distance learning. We cannot play this game while kids are desperately trying to switch tabs. Kids cant be tab switching to check the question/photo and then rushing to click the correct answer. Just a huge disappointment. As an educator, my entire department has decided we cannot use kahoot anymore.
