How do I upload a logo and brand kahoots?

This article is for:

Owners, admins, and members can upload and display a logo during private and team kahoots. All the members of a shared workspace can then add the theme with the logo through the Themes section of the kahoot creator.

How to upload a logo

You can upload a logo to represent your team or organization. 

Logos must be a JPG or PNG file type, no larger than 2MB.  We can recommend the PNG format if you want transparency.

Logos can be added in the “Themes” section of kahoot creator. Just click the “Themes” button in the top right corner of the screen.

 Depending on your subscription level we offer:

• Standard theming
• Custom theming

 After you click the icon, a window will pop up on your screen where you can add the logo. The window will look slightly different depending on your subscription level. In the top part of the window, you will see the visualization of how your theme would look during the game.

Just hit the “Add logo” button and select a file from your device. Once it’s done, you will be able to crop the image and select the square or landscape format. Just click on the first icon to the right of your logo.

How to change or remove a logo

You can click the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the theme’s icon in the “Themes” section in the kahoot creator to edit, rename or remove the theme. 

How to add branding to a kahoot

If you or anyone from your organization has created a theme you can select it in the “Themes” section of the kahoot creator.

1. Edit a kahoot to access kahoot creator and click the “Themes” button.
2. If the kahoot is visible to only you or your team, select the theme with the logo uploaded.
3. Click “Save”.

That’s it, now this kahoot is branded!
