The free version of Kahoot! Kids includes one child profile. The ability to create multiple profiles is included in certain plans.
If an additional profile is not included in your current plan and you try to add it, you’ll be redirected to the relevant plan within the app. You can upgrade directly there!
How to create a child profile
- After accessing Kahoot! Kids, tap on the avatar icon at the top of the screen.
- Tap on the plus icon - Add.
- Provide your age. It must indicate that you’re an adult.
- Provide the child’s age.
- Set a nickname.
- Select the avatar.
- Done!
How to edit or delete a child profile
In the Kahoot! Kids app
- Tap on the Parents button in the top left corner.
- Provide your date of birth. It has to indicate that you're an adult.
- Go to the My Kids section.
- Select the profile.
- Tap Edit Profile or Delete Profile.
In the Kahoot! app
- Go to the settings by tapping on your avatar in the top left corner.
- Select and activate the adult profile.
☝️ You won't be able to delete child profiles when a child profile is selected as the current active profile. - Tap and hold on to the child profile’s avatar.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Edit name or age and tap Save.
- Alternatively, select the Delete User option at the bottom of the screen.

Here's our help article on How to edit a kahoot in mobile app and if you want to edit a kahoot in web platform just find your kahoot in your library and click on the pencil icon.
