Web platform
Yes! Currently, live games can be played and presented in English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, and Norwegian.
Our platform will try to identify your device’s default language and, if the language is supported, will automatically switch to that language. If the language needs to be changed, you can do so manually.
As a player
If you're participating in a live game, use the language selector in the top-right of the screen.
As a presenter
If you're presenting to a group, use the language selector in the top-left of the screen.
Android and iOS mobile apps
In our Android and iOS mobile apps, you can enjoy the full in-app game experience in English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, and Norwegian.
Non-supported languages
Though we don't support every language, questions and answers can easily be written in many languages! In fact, when creating a kahoot, you can set the language your kahoot is in. You can also search for public kahoots and filter them based on language.
Using right-to-left (RTL) languages
Kahoot! doesn’t yet support RTL text. But here are tips we've learned from users to help make RTL languages look good:
- Consider typing punctuation marks (., !, ?) before you type your sentence
- If numerical or Latin symbols are in the middle of your sentence, consider rephrasing so that they appear at the end instead
- Consider creating an image with your question in it and uploading that to your question
- Avoid keyboard shortcuts (like Ctrl + Shift) to change text direction, or you might see ‘<div style=”direction: rtl;”>’ added to your questions and answers

can i put 2 language in 1 question?
for example upper phase for english and mandarin below it.
I think multiple Interface languages could be an appreciated premium feature. I use Kahoot a lot in my work and it would be good when students make their own questions to have the Interface in their native language.
I think it is a pitty that you can't change the interface language to the native language. Now students are faced with English text when a true/false question is asked. One can think this is no big issue, but on the other hand we expect correct usage of the native language.
I will be glad to help you (Kahoot!) with a Dutch interface.
As a RTL language native speaker (Hebrew) i feel that we are really left out in the world wide web.
Because the alternative RTL instructions is really frustrating, and because teachers in my med-school really struggle with that situation, me and my friend wrote a chrome extension that's adds CSS RTL attributes automatically and fix the problem for us. of crourse you can also shut this off in one click.
In the link you could also see 10sec video example. I encourage you to add it to your blog!

I would like to have two students play against eachother, both with their own set of questions, as they are in different classes.
