How to verify your domain
To protect your organization and prevent unauthorized access, claiming your domain is essential.
If you're the owner, contact your Account Manager and provide a list of domains your organization owns. The verification process may take up to 72 hours. Once it's complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
After your domain is successfully claimed and verified, any user attempting to sign up or log in using that domain will be prompted to either request to join your organization or change their email to a personal one.
As the owner, you’ll have the ability to approve or deny these requests, giving you full control over who gains access.
How to manage requests to join organization by new users
When an employee submits a request to join your organization, you have full control over who gets access. You can approve or deny each request.
To manage these requests:
- Go to your domain inbox and locate the email from Kahoot!.
- Click on and log in to your account if needed.
- Then open the “Membership requests” section to expand all pending join requests.
- From here, you can approve or deny each request one by one.
Keep in mind:
☝️ If a user already has a Kahoot! account and stores content in a private workspace, but does not have a subscription, that content will be automatically added to the private folder in the organization’s Library.
☝️ Users can cancel their own requests to join as long as they haven’t been approved yet.
☝️ Each request will automatically expire 7 days after it was sent if no action is taken.
☝️ If a request was approved by mistake, you can remove that member from the organization later.
☝️ If you try to approve more members than the number of currently available licenses, you will receive a pop-up notification to purchase additional licenses.
