In the event my device/browser crashes (or if I simply forget to save), I can end up losing hours of work.
To improve saving, here are some ideas:
- The auto-restore option that exists when I create a new kahoot and forget to save could be expanded to existing kahoots I forget to save.
- Revise the "Next" buttons so that they also save.

Hi all!
We've now launched a new creator that auto-saves! Learn more about this here.
I second this. I lost a couple of hours worth of work because of this. I thought the kahoot was saved, but it was not.
I totally agree. I spent over an hour creating a Kahoot! at work yesterday. I came back today to find that I did not save it and now can not find my Kahoot!. What a waste of energy. I am so used to things being auto saved as with other apps that I did not remember to save each one. Please come up with an auto save function. Thank you!
Very frustrating, hours of work then the site freezes and I log back in to nothing. I don't understand why this doesn't work like other website apps where every edit is auto-saved?
Site froze on me and I lost a lot of work
agreed
Every question should be auto-saved after it is finished being created! I just lost about at least an hour's worth of work because you have to physically click the stupid save button. I'm extremely frustrated right now.
Auto save would be very helpful
So very sorry for the inconveniences! Rest assured, we are working on adding autosave features to the platform so instances like this won't happen.
3 months later and there is still no auto feature! I just lost hours of work because I was stupid and assumed it auto saved like any other size (quizlet, google platforms..etc) I will not use Kahoot anymore if there is no autosave feature. Teachers work too hard already we need an ease of mind that we won't lose work created.
I just lost all of my work too....
agree with above, 2 hours work lost
