Quiz and jumble kahoots show a "top 5" scoreboard after each question. This board listed their nicknames and scores.
For some events, it's more advantageous to show the top 10 scorers or all scorers. It may also be useful to show total correct instead of or in addition to scores.
Also, sometimes it's important to tally correct answers, but students get too competitive and hard to manage. If it were possible to hide leaderboards until the very end, that would help greatly.
For now, the best option is to either turn off "award points" on each question so that no one earns points, or re-create your kahoot as a survey so that there are no leaderboards. Results will still display as charts between questions, and you can download results afterward. But surveys do not automatically determine if an answer was right or wrong.
