I have been using Kahoot for several years now and never had a problem with inserting pictures, but now when I insert a picture, most times it does not fit in the space. It used to automatically fit, but now it doesn't. What happened????

I'm new to Kahoot and I find the insert image feature is horrible. Why can't you scale and crop a photo? It takes repeated attempts to get a photo to fit the way I want. I would prefer to be in control of how the picture fits as opposed to an AutoFit.

I am having the same issue with uploading pictures. Pictures are now distorted, zoomed in too much so that they fit the entire space. Pictures are an important part of my Kahoots because they allow the students to make better connections to the questions. With the way this is working now, this is just useless.

I have been using Kahoots for several years and had been able at one point to upload a docx or a screenshot and now I am finding that I cannot do this. It only allows me to upload 1 picture and the Autofit is not helpful at all. I use some pictures for students to decide between a correct and incorrect object. I wanted to update this picture and find that I can not.

I, too, have been using Kahoot! for a few years and can no longer insert pictures without them being large and distorted. Is the ability to resize available with the pay feature? I have tried to put the picture in Word and make it very small before screenshooting and inserting it, but it still does not work. please help

I am experiencing the same issue. Is this a tactic by Kahoot to get users to pay for the extra features? I noticed the "ease" of searching through a database of images for a fee was being strongly advertised. If anyone figures this out, your help will be greatly appreciated!

I recently paid for a membership, and I still have the same problem. It hadn't been an issue for years. I really can't use Kahoot anymore if I can't upload pictures that work. I hope that they fix this problem soon.

Same here. Almost all my pics, regardless of kb size, are waaaay over zoomed when I put them into questions. The crop feature does not help, it just takes the cropped image and makes it the size of the original. I cannot help but notice the query was first posted two months ago and no one from Kahoot has chimed in. I consider things like that in future choices/recommendations.

I just joined and I am halfway through a Kahoot and the images just won't load. What do I do. It tells me to try again and I have tried using smaller images.

The only way that I have gotten it to work for me is to put the image into a Word document or something similar, take a specified screen shot of it (Command+Shift+4 on a Mac), but select a size about twice as large as the picture that I need. Then I upload the screen shot and crop it. It took a few tries to get the size right, but it works. The picture are often a little fuzzy due to the sizing, but it still works. Sadly, all of these extra steps, which should be unnecessary, take me much longer. I am not sure how much longer I will continue to use this method before searching for another site that provides a more user-friendly platform. Unfortunately, since I paid for the membership, I feel that I should try to use it if I can. It's too bad that no one from Kahoot! has chimed in to address the issue.

I just paid to upgrade my Kahoot and I am very disappointed. I use Kahoot for plant Identification and I am unable to load any pictures. I had no problem with this before and now I see other people are having the same issue. Can this be corrected?

Just like everyone up, I have the same problems with images in a question, the main one is that the images are not loaded during the game .... and that breaks, completely the dynamics of that session!
Another point is that the last post in this forum has already 2 months and so far have had no official response.

We just started school again in my district. I upgraded my subscription from free so that I could sort my Kahoots into folders. Today while playing, I noticed the pictures were cropped and unusable in Kahoots that worked just fine last school year. I am frustrated that I came across this thread and even though this has been an issue for months, there still seems to be no official response. If anyone has found an easy way around this problem, please let me know.

That "no official response" certainly raises a red flag doesn't it? Mine did that for a few weeks and created a substantial amount of additional work on my behalf. And then one day....it simply went away. I have no idea why.

I have some kahoots with images that have been working fine for a few years, but now when I play them the images are oddly zoomed/cropped so that you can only see about half of the image.

I completely agree; it has ruined quite a few of my kahoots.

This has ruined nearly 30 Kahoots I have built for review. No support or answer on this is disappointing.

Is anyone from Kahoot going to respond? I loved using this resource in the classroom, but will no longer use it without the pictures.

I contacted Kahoot directly - they replied fairly promptly saying it was being looked at. Had another reply a week or so ago saying it was sorted. The ones I have used since have been fine.

made a Kahoot but it says "image upload failed. (error 0)". It's not letting me save it and there's no DONE button. so I can't study with it. I did a few questions on my computer beforehand and that's the only thing that shows up in other devices, the rest of the 30 questions comes up as a draft and only on my phone. I want to check if that's because the account is open in two devices but I'm too scared to log off my phone and possibly lose everything.
edit: haha it was just loading for a long time (45 mins)

I am having the same difficulty. I am using Kahoot tomorrow for my class and found the same thing happening to me. I cannot add pictures to slides I am adding to the Kahoot. I have never had this issue before when using Kahoot. Please help!

I have made 8 Kahoots in the last 8 weeks and have done pictures. All of a sudden I am unable to insert pictures it says something about sizing? Also giving me an error of pictures that are already in a kahoot?! What is up?!

Same is happening to me. The images I try to upload keep getting bounced back as being too large, but when I try the same images I have used in past Kahoots they are still bounced back. I have tried re-sizing, re-taking the pictures, taking the pictures directly into kahoot using my phone, cropping, etc. etc. Nothing is working. So frustrating and a huge waste of time! #support #kahoot
