No app requirement for challenge
Why do kids need to download an app to play the challenge? It should just load on their web browser the same way it would during a regular in school game. This is frustrating
Edited to add:
Our kids can't download anything on their school issued chromebooks so I'm not sure why Kahoot thought this was a good idea. I actually stopped using Kahoot for this reason and uploaded my challenge using Quizzizz. Until Kahoot fixes this, I can't use Kahoot at all & I will only be using Quizzizz moving forward. Please fix this Kahoot!

I agree!

My students can't do the challenge on their laptops. They have to download an app, but you can't download an app on a laptop! Games cannot be played.

UPDATE: I found this answer in another strand of questions...
The "download the app" appears when you choose "Personalized learning" when you set up the challenge. So, it's as easy as making sure you don't choose that option.
IT WORKS!!! YOU DO NOT NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE APP AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT CHOOSE "PERSONALIZED LEARNING" WHEN CREATING THE CHALLENGE!!!

Thank you! It works! I'm glad I tested the Kahoot before assigning it!
