How to assign, host, and study a course

Are you looking for a way to create engaging, differentiated learning experiences at scale? With Kahoot! courses you can build in-depth learning by combining multiple kahoots, videos, and documents into a single learning experience that can be delivered and tracked over an extended time period. 

1. Find the course in the Courses section of the Library tab, on the Discover or Marketplace page.
   
2. Open the course, and click Start.
   
   
3. Choose whether you want to host live, assign or study the course.
   
   

Host live

If you select the Host live option, you'll be taken to a screen where you can choose the session's settings. Once you click Start live you'll be able to start each kahoot from the course as a live game or play all the kahoots in a sequence (click the Start button in the top right corner).

Assign

If you select the Assign option, you'll see the settings panel where you can determine the session's time frame, visibility, and other prerequisites. As the next step, you can share the session via QR code, link, or assign it directly to learners.

Later you can share and assign the course to the learners in the Ongoing sessions section of the course and in the Reports section.

Study

If you select the Study option, you'll be taken to a single-player game mode. You can go through the course at your own pace and resume whenever you need in the My learning section of the Home page.
