I am visually impaired, so I cannot see very well. This is a huge issue when I participate in live kahoots, I cannot see the questions and answers on the host's screen. This is an issue because I have an unfair disadvantage, and I cannot get a good score. I don't think I've ever places well due to my circumstances.
Now, I know that the host can turn on a setting to show questions and answers on players screens, but the problem is, the host usually never knows to even turn it on. I mean, I have never played a game with that setting on.
My proposal is that there should be an accessibility menu on the players screen during a game, web and mobile, in the account settings, and in the app settings, which will have many accessibility options, specifically a choice to show questions and answers on the players screen. It will not effect anyone else playing in the kahoot, just the player. There could also be an option to speak questions and answers automatically for people who can't read very fast.
This new addition will be able to help connect disabled people connect with their peers more, as well as allowing them to have way more fun.
Also, here's something to note, kahoot claims they care about accessibility, but the thing is, it's only screen reader support, nothing else, not even any accessibility options you would expect a game to have.
