If you normally use the “Username or email” and “Password” field to sign in but your credentials aren’t being accepted, you can try resetting your password.
- Young students must use their username to sign in if using the “Username or email” field
- Password reset emails are sent from noreply@getkahoot.com. If your account is linked to a work or school email and you're not receiving anything after starting a password reset, check with your email admin to ensure local or network security settings aren't rejecting messages from @getkahoot.com. These messages might be found in your inbox's spam folder. But sometimes, private email servers reject messages unless an admin has allowed contact with the sender.

“Account type” and “type of workplace” are selected by you when creating your account. They help tailor your experience with our services. Typically, these cannot be changed later.
If you chose the wrong options and are unable to change them on your profile settings page, you can delete your account and create a new one.
- If you have kahoots that you want to retain access to, you can download reports for any previously hosted or assigned sessions (one for each kahoot) and use those files to copy text into new kahoots.
- If the above suggestions are not manageable, use the "contact support" button below. Please choose Account settings > Change account type in the field titled “what is your inquiry about?”. Our support team can advise if anything else is possible.
If your kahoot will only save as a draft or with “unsaved changes”, this usually means you’ve enabled something that requires an upgrade to unlock. We allow you to play with locked features a little so that you can familiarize yourself and see what’s possible before upgrading. Locked features will have a star icon next to them.
Invoices can be accessed by going to your billing page and clicking “View invoices”, or click “Manage subscription” to access an overview of your subscription, billing details, and invoices.

- You can change/update your name, company name, address
- You can change/update your VAT/Tax ID
- You can change/update billing email where 7-day renewal notices are sent

These changes are immediate but do not affect prior invoices. Our support team can assist with adding custom notes to existing invoices. But invoices are transactional records and mostly not editable.
