I would like to set times for: Quickest; Fast, Medium, Slow, Very Slow, Slowest, and then be able to choose the speed when setting up the live hosting.
I might set the questions to Medium for teaching and then want them to be Fast or Quickest for review. In fact, I usually do.
It'd be nice to be able to set the a question to be a certain time difficulty, so more difficult questions can be set to a longer time, and easier questions can be set to a shorter time, and then choose a mode when setting up gameplay.
For that matter, I wish there was a 15 second option. 20 seconds is too long, and 10 seconds is sometimes too fast. 15 seconds is sometimes the sweet spot for my students to be able to actually answer, but also not have to wait so long when there's that one student who isn't answering at all. (Special Ed, or in a mood, or whatever.)
Just being able to set how quickly I'd like to play, and how long a question should be for each of those settings, would be super helpful. Of course, there can be defaults set to make it easy for everyone. We would just have the option, like now, to go and change it.
To be clear, I'm talking about setting a Quickest, Fast, etc. time for each question. So, Question 1 might be "Quickest = 5 seconds" and "Fast = 10 seconds" and "Slowest = 45 seconds." While Question 2 might be "Quickest = 15 seconds" and "Fast = 30 seconds," etc. Because they have to type in a short answer. Then, when it's time to play the Kahoot live, as a teacher I can pick which speed to play at. If we're playing for learning purposes I might choose "Medium" speed. or "Slowest Speed" and then when we're reviewing, I might pick "Fast" and then when we're reviewing again, later in the year, I might choose "Quickest."
It's not a perfect solution, but it would help me out a lot.
