Greetings!
I love Kahoot, thank you for doing what you do.
I use Kahoot instead of things like Power Point or Google Slides to give my presentations and lectures to my students. I show two to five slides, usually around three, and then I give the kids a question. The kids love it, and I love it. It encourages the students to pay attention and lets me know who is understanding what I am teaching and who isn't, and see where I lost them in the lecture or presentation, etc. I then put a quiz at the end, usually five to ten questions, and again the kids love it and I'm able to check how well they retained the lecture in that short time that I gave it. I can see who gets it, and who doesn't.
I use a presenter remote/wand so I am able to walk around the classroom, instead of being stuck at the computer keyboard or a touchscreen (depending on the classroom I'm in).
A problem I run into with the presenter wand is that when I go backwards on a slide, and then try to go forward again, I of course run into the "Resume" issue.
I would like to be able to hit the same button for next slide that I use to simply resume. It can and should do the countdown timer if the next thing up is a question, or simply move to the next slide if the next thing is a slide. That way, the students aren't waiting for those several precious seconds (and all the time in my short classes counts and adds up) for me to walk back to my computer and click resume on the mouse so we can continue.
If students ask a question, I often need to reverse to discuss things on a previous slide. It's just how students are, they wait until I'm one or two slides away before raising their hand to ask their question.
Sincerely,
Teacher Jeremy

Hi teacherjeremyford!
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing how you use Kahoot in your classroom. We're thrilled to hear that both you and your students are enjoying the interactive presentations and quizzes.
Regarding the issue with the presenter remote/wand and the "Resume" button, we understand how this can disrupt the flow of your presentation. Currently, the "Resume" button is necessary to continue after going back to a previous slide, which can indeed be inconvenient.
We are actively working on improving the interactive presentation mode in Kahoot, and your suggestion to use the same button for both advancing slides and resuming questions is valuable. This feature is not available at the moment, but we have noted your feedback for our product development team. They are continuously looking for ways to enhance the user experience, and your input will be considered in future updates.
In the meantime, one workaround could be to use a wireless mouse or a mobile device as a remote control, which might offer more flexibility than a traditional presenter wand.
