Thank you for sharing your experience and workaround for using Kahoot! in a classroom with unreliable internet access. Currently, Kahoot! does not support offline use directly within the app, which means that all features, including multimedia elements like pictures, videos, and sounds, require an active internet connection.
However, your method of copying and pasting the Kahoot content into a Word Document is a practical solution for ensuring that you can still conduct your quizzes and reviews without internet access. While this approach does not capture all the interactive and multimedia elements, it does allow you to present the core information to your students.
We understand the importance of having offline capabilities, especially in environments with inconsistent internet access. The development team is aware of this need, and there have been discussions about potential solutions for offline use, such as caching models for certain features. Although there is no immediate solution available, it is a topic under consideration.
If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Downloading as a PDF would then make it easier for my students who do NOT have internet access at home when we are doing e-learning days.
We fully support this proposal
Kahoot please do this. I had several students today absent and the Kahoot we are doing is graded. The only feasible option for them to make it up is to give it to them on paper.
I totally agree with this! This would be an amazing feature and make it more adaptable!
Believe it or not there are people that do have access to internet & we need to be able to have a printable version of our reviews.
YES!! I can't believe that this isn't an option yet...PLEASE!!!!
Or even if we can download them into powerpoint slide format that can be then printed. If there's an option to upload the kahoot from a powerpoint presentation, it makes sense the reverse should be available as an option too.
Indeed. what a great idea and i fully support this.
Do not push us to Google Forms. We love KAHOOT
I'm in China, and sometimes I can't get internet in the classroom (Usually works fine, until I have something that REQUIRES internet) so what I just did was copy and pasted my Kahoot, with answers shown, then pasted it into a Word Document. You don't get all the pictures/videos/sounds if you've chosen them, but if you use the Kahoots like a revew/quiz like I do, you get the typed information. It's not the same maybe as a PDF, and for questions that require students to listen, you have to say that part, but it's something at least. But I do hope they make the Kahoots downloadable!
