I tried searching, but I couldn't find a way to add longer "Think Time" to questions so that kids can actually take some time to think of an answer (or work out an answer) before getting to click. Kids tend to click whatever answer because they want to be the fastest so forcing a short amount of "think time" (30-45 sec) would be a good option to prevent fast clickers.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this feature isn't currently available.
We're constantly working on improving our product thus we value greatly our users' feedback regarding Kahoot!. There's nothing more motivating for us than hearing your ideas.
I will forward your feedback to the appropriate department for consideration.
This is such an important feature that should be implemented. You could have a delay answer choice option (with options in 10 second intervals). This would cause the initial screen to show up, the second screen could then be displayed as usual (without answers displayed, and students phones not able to select and answer), then finally a 3rd screen that displays the answer choices.
I SOOOO wish this was a feature. My students are so quick to answer that they often don't read all the choices. (Middle schoolers just like being the first to answer!)
I agree. I often have reading passages that need to be read, but the students want to answer the questions before they read the text. A delay would be great.
Has this been incorporated yet??
Very sad to see company that offers an engaging & highly requested educational tool not even bother to respond to these inquiries IN 6 YEARS?!? Wow.
Yooooohoooo Kahoot team! You should pay travis.kniffin for his suggested solution. Your product use would be tripled in the education world.
I have been wishing for this too! The slow readers don´t have a fair chance.
