I understand that preventing duplication is not an option for teacher accounts. However, I'm also not a fan of the culture in education where we encourage students to not represent the work of others as their own while we teachers take others' work and use it as if it were our own. I think it would be great if duplicated Kahoots from teacher creators could:
- Include credit and/or link back to the original author, and/or
- Be only unlisted or private for the person who duplicated the Kahoot
I think it would help respect the work of teachers we could limit the number of people who can "own" our content just by clicking the duplicate button. Thanks for considering this!

I totally agree! I wish there were an option to stop this from happening.
I agree 1000%.
I made this kahoot https://create.kahoot.it/details/44482cbd-c849-4722-a00f-993710414bba and some user (bot or not) just copied mine but changed absolutely nothing. https://create.kahoot.it/details/03f8fcc9-5f32-4114-829b-407617fa6370
There needs to be a system in place where if they edit nothing within a few days or so it gets automatically deleted. Something like that.
Also like a post I created, there should be comments teachers can make that should be visible only to teachers so the original creator can edit if there's anything wrong/outdated to prevent cluttering the website. https://support.kahoot.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/30720087162259-Kahoots-Should-Have-Comments
