I am a Kahoot+ Max Teacher user, and it's strange to me that only users that subscribe as part of a school or district can have access to word cloud and brainstorm questions. I have the top subscription available to me and would get a lot of benefit from these question types. Why restrict them this way?

Hi Dfrostad,
As Bryan mentions, these features are not currently available with our current individual K-12 school plans due to Children's Data Privacy laws.If you wish to use the aforementioned features you can upgrade to our EDU subscription.
However, an EDU subscription is designed as a team plan and it requires min. 3 licenses to be activated. This might be an excellent opportunity to engage and collaborate with fellow teachers within your organization or school.
If you're considering transitioning to the EDU plan to initiate collaboration with other educators, we can connect you with our Sales team. They'll assist you in activating the plan smoothly.
Also, using the EDU plan fully requires accepting an additional privacy policy, and therefore having the authority to accept the additional parental consent found in the product is necessary. This is to protect student privacy as laid out in our student privacy policy. To find out how to accept the privacy policy with your active EDU subscription, please check out this help article:
Feel free to have a look at the EDU page for more details about this plan and what it includes. Our team will be more than happy to assist you!
Hi Dfrostad!
Because any open-text fields can be misused to submit inappropriate or identifiable information that would then be stored in your game reports or displayed to students during gameplay, use of such features should involve approval from your school/district administration. Ideally, we would want them to set up an EDU shared workspace so that they can manage who is authorized to use such features. They can then invite you and others to link your accounts with their workspace, offering access to a ton more than just Word Cloud and Brainstorm.
