Hi Alex! We don't have widespread reports of this. For issues like this that you suspect might be due to something on our end, you can always check status.kahoot.com. For this instance, you may want to see if there are any OS or browser updates available for your device. Or if you're using our iOS or Android mobile app, please make sure they're up to date.
I have the same issue, the leaderboard animation isn't happening. I haven't had time until now to report it and also kind of assumed you may have already known about it.
Yes I have the same issue. There used to be leaderboard animation showing the increase in points but now it is just a static page with no animation or sound effects.
Also, for multi-select questions, there would also be a prompt on the screen before the question showed up, but now it's gone too.
Anyone working on this? It's a small thing, but it's the small things that count. My students get that hit of dopamine when the leaderboard is working correctly and plays the animation and sound effects.
It's not working, and we'd like to have it fixed or know if it is something on our end that we can fix.

It's not a common issue we're experiencing, but it does happen from time to time. Mostly this is happening due to local computer setting issues.
We recommend you try to update these settings on your local computer:
(On MacOS: System Preferences > Accessibility > Display > Reduce motion (should be off) )
On Windows 11, we solved the problem by going to 'Settings' > 'Accessibility' > 'Visual Effects' and turning 'Animation Effects' to 'On'. When it was off, most of the Kahoot animations were disabled.
