It would be amazing if I could get a QR code for joining a Kahoot which is active for a set amount of time, like 8 hours or 12 hours--this way I can print out QR codes prior to my event since not everyone can see the screen. It will help me increase engagement at my events.

If the QR code is too small for participants to scan with their phones, the host can click on the QR code to expand it.
A PIN/QR code for a live Kahoot! game session can be active for up to 2 hours. It is generally not recommended to generate the PIN in advance because connectivity issues may disrupt the experience. The best practice is to start the live game directly after creating the PIN.
Alternatively, you can assign a self-paced assignment that can be active for multiple weeks. This method generates a unique link and QR code specifically for the assigned Kahoot!, which can be shared with participants. This way, participants can join the game at their convenience without needing to see the screen during a live session. I would also love this feature! (so I could include the kahoot link in the email for the meeting invite or print out the QR code in advance) The game would still not start until the host starts it, so this is different from self paced sharing
Is this feature in the works? The ability to hold and share a QR code/Game PIN for a few hours would be extremely useful for events where everyone may not be in the best view of a screen to scan a code.
