Teams could be noted by having the same color uniforms, while in individual mode they look like whatever they dressed their charaters as.

As players answer questions they move further and further ahead. The screen would have to widen out as the players got further and further away from each other.

The game could give different boost strengths to different students, keeping it kind of close… so that poorly performing students don't get too far behind. A student that's doing very well, for example, might get a boost every 3 questions they get right, while a player doing very poorly can get a boost everytime they get a question right, even if the previous four were incorrect. Also, maybe move runners ahead a little based on time, the players don't need to know it's happening that way.

Anyway, a race similar to run robot run could be fun. Maybe players could jump over herdles for one part, or do other track and field stuff like high jumping and long jumping or hammer throw…
