I used Kahoot for a quiz grade recently. I observed students become frustrated and give up when they didn't see themselves on or fall off the leaderboard, even if the were getting the answers correct. I believe providing the option to select accuracy mode and/or remove the leaderboard would help encourage students to continue to do their best and increase the impact Kahoot can have on student learning.
