Hello. Now that I'm not physically present with my students in the classroom, sometimes it gets a little chaotic with the nicknames, in that they feign misunderstanding the need of teachers of knowing who's who to be able to analyze results.
The feature I'd like to ask is that when students join a Kahoot, before they choose an untraceable nickname, that they have to write their email address, similar to when one has to do a Google Form.
That way, when I go into the report to see the analytics, I can recognize who the squiggly lines nickname belongs to. It comes down to sometimes the assessment being invalidated due to my inability to map results to individual students.
Best regards,
Luis Robles

Hi there! We now have a Player Identifier feature that allows you to do this. For teachers, please ask your school or district tech administrator to contact us to discuss EDU options to enable this.
Thank you for saying this. I feel like this was a waste because the students didn't have to put anything in...how am I suppose to give credit? I have o idea who these weird game generated names belong to. And of course that wasn't explained before hand for me to tell the students that they HAVE to write down their name so I can come back and check.
I am having trouble who has won my remote learning challenge.
They all have nicknames... I cant tell who's who... I wanted to reward the winners.
Not sure how to find out what email is linked to each nichname.
Also... It's capped at 100. I have students who are unable to participate now. (I have 6 classes). I'd like to add more students.
Can I duplicate the challenge? Or do I need to create a new one from scratch?
Is there really no way to tell who is who? The nickname feature is cute, but I need to know student's results!
