  Kahoot! does not currently offer direct messaging between users or creators, and this feature is intentionally restricted to help protect all users, especially children, on the platform. Private messaging can introduce significant security and safety concerns, such as the risk of inappropriate contact or sharing of personal information, which is why these interactions are limited.

  Instead, if you come across content that is incorrect, inappropriate, or violates Kahoot!’s guidelines, you can flag the content for review by Kahoot!’s moderation team. 

  Here’s how flagging works (see also: How to flag inappropriate Kahoot! content):

  • When viewing a kahoot, look for the “report” or “flag” option (typically represented by a flag icon).
  • Select this option to report kahoot. You may be prompted to specify the reason for your report, such as inappropriate content, mistakes, or other guideline violations.
  • Once flagged, the Kahoot! moderation team reviews the reported kahoot and can take appropriate action if needed.

  This process helps maintain a safe and accurate learning environment for everyone.

   

  Allowing private messaging between users, including students, children, and strangers, could pose risks such as exposure to unwanted contact or solicitation, sharing of personal and potentially sensitive information, and an increased possibility of cyberbullying or harassment. These restrictions are in place to protect young learners and to comply with child safety regulations.

  If you identify a kahoot with incorrect information:

  • Flag the content as described, so moderators can review it.
  • If you want to use the kahoot but modify it, you can duplicate the kahoot and edit the question(s) before using it with your group.
  • Teachers and educators with verified accounts can sometimes leave comments, but commenting is limited to ensure safety.

  These methods support improvement and feedback while prioritizing a safe environment for all users, especially children. Thank you for your understanding!

  Then make it so we can click on individual questions to tag them and notify the creators that there's something wrong in them.

• Hello, thank you for your suggestion! When flagging the incorrect kahoot, you can leave a comment, highlighting which question is incorrect in your opinion.  

  Allowing private messaging or tagging between users, including students is currently not available. These restrictions are in place to protect young learners and to comply with child safety regulations.
