Is there a way to see who the students are ? Students like being anonymous - with Kahoot generated names, but for assessment purposes, I don't know who the students actually are. Is there a way for Kahoot to generate a connection in the reports to both of these for the teacher only? Thank you

Hi there! We now have a Player Identifier feature that allows you to do this. For teachers, please ask your school or district tech administrator to contact us to discuss EDU options to enable this.

absolutely agree, can we have this feature
This feature would very useful.
I agree. This basic feature isn't something one should only be able to access with a premium account. I may stop using all-together if this change isn't made.
I'm coming on to agree that this is necessary feature. Allow students to log in with their real name, but have a nickname public. Linking it with their Google Classroom would be amazing as well.
I am not sure when Kahoot decided to automatically generate names but I was totally caught off guard when I started a Kahoot thinking students could enter their names and they couldn't. (Did not follow best practice of doing a trial run)...I guess I missed the memo. On the plus side, this cut down the time it took for all students to join the game. Usually it takes a long time for students to enter their names as they try to put in emojis etc. On the downside after a friendly game I did not know who the winners were. I had to ask them and luckily they were honest. I would definitely like for students' real names to be connected to the autogenerated one and at least have the top 3 revealed at the end of the game.
