Turn solo tasks into collaborative learning experiences with Missions
Boost team collaboration and productivity by turning individual assignments into shared team achievements. With the updated Missions flow, you can now assign any course as a team mission directly from the course assignment screen. Participants are split into teams and complete a series of activities to build and launch a rocket together. This creates urgency, visible progress, and friendly competition, making your team far more likely to complete training, onboarding, and communication updates.
Create kahoots directly from your favourite AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
Generating engaging content is now faster and more flexible. The new Kahoot! ChatGPT app allows you to turn PDFs, articles, study notes, meeting summaries, and ideas into interactive kahoots in minutes. You can review the generated questions and iterate directly within the chat—asking the AI to make questions harder, easier, or translate them. Prefer using another AI assistant like Claude? We also offer a public MCP server that allows you to connect your preferred LLM to create kahoots on your behalf.
Clearer names for a couple of familiar features
We've refreshed two feature names so they're easier to find and understand:
- AI 'Experiences' is now AI formats
- Game 'modes' is now Experiences.
Same great functionality – clearer, more intuitive labels.

Assigning a course just got easier. The updated creation flow is simpler, with advanced options tucked neatly behind a click; more consistent, with sharing settings grouped in one panel instead of living only on the report page.

Hosting is smoother with a single top toolbar that brings the essentials together: join info front and center (PIN + QR code, so participants jump in fast), clearer branding in the middle, and a smart navigation button that always spells out exactly what it'll do. Best of all, it's the same bar and navigation in both Classic and Presentation, so you move through every game the same way.
