How do I add content to a Kahoot! course?
To start developing your first course, click Create in the top right corner of your screen and select the Course option.
From the creator menu, you can add various types of content to build your learning path:
Stories
Select the Story option to add a multimedia article. You can pick an existing story or click Create to build a new one.
Kahoots
Click the Kahoot button on the left side of the screen. Browse your games, click Select next to the relevant ones, and hit Add kahoots.
Documents
Select the Document option to upload supplemental reading. You can upload PDF files up to 10MB in size.
Videos
Select the Video option to embed multimedia. You can choose either YouTube or Vimeo as your video provider.
How do I configure my course settings?
Click the gearwheel icon in the top right corner to open your course settings. Here, you can configure essential details to ensure your course reaches the right audience:

Basic Info: Add a description, topic, and language. Teachers can also define the age range and grades of their target audience.

Design: Set a cover image, add up to 5 preview images, and choose a Details page theme (available with certain subscriptions).

Resources: Upload up to 10 PDF files (max 10MB each) such as glossaries or student worksheets. These will be downloadable directly from the course page.

Visibility: Decide who is allowed to find and view your course.
Once your settings are configured, click Save in the top right corner to finish the course.
How do I set up course certificates?
For users on certain premium plans (⭐), you can reward participants with completion certificates that they can share on platforms like LinkedIn. Go to the Course certificate section in your settings and toggle on Enable course certificate.
From there, you can customize the following details:
- Certificate requirements: Choose whether participants receive the certificate just for Course completion, or if they must achieve a Minimum accuracy (by entering a specific percentage).
- Logo (Optional): Upload an image to replace the default trophy badge at the top of the certificate. (Max file size: 10 MB. Supported formats: GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, WEBP).
- Featured image (Optional): Upload an image to be displayed on the right side of the certificate. (Max file size: 10 MB. Supported formats: GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, WEBP).
- Certificate authority: Add the name of the certificate authority or course instructor (up to 50 characters). You can also add an optional Position/Title (up to 50 characters) and upload a custom Signature image (Max file size: 10 MB. Supported formats: GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, WEBP).
- Color theme: Select a background colour from brand palette.
You can view how your final version will look for participants in the Preview panel on the right side of the screen.

Q: Can free users create and assign Kahoot! courses? Regular (free) users can fully create courses and use them for "live" hosting or self-study. However, assigning courses as asynchronous tasks requires a premium subscription.

It's not stated anywhere that this is for premium users only.
Regular can create them too but not assign them, only “live” and self-study.

Hello, you can add up to 15 kahoots/activities in a single course. This is the limit for all account types and subscriptions.
I used to notice that some subcriptions allow as many as 105 kahoots in one course. Is this true?
