How to collect Kahoot! rewards
In the Kahoot! mobile app, students can earn points by engaging in games and other learning activities. These points can be redeemed to unlock game characters and accessories to use during live games. This guide explains how to collect points and claim your rewards.
☝️ Kahoot! rewards are available for student, personal, and school account types in the Kahoot! mobile app.
☝️Users with paid subscriptions get a season pass and can claim both standard rewards (left column on the reward screen) and exclusive rewards (right column on the reward screen). Free users can collect standard rewards (left column on the reward screen).
☝️ Certain rewards are available for a limited time - a season.
How to collect points
You can collect points by completing the following activities in the app:
- Playing games in any mode (including solo modes).
- Achieving high accuracy in the games you play.
- Completing missed questions after games.
- Placing in the top 3 in games played with more than 5 other players.
- Completing goals.
How to claim rewards
- Open the Kahoot! mobile app.
- Click the top progress banner of the current season.
- Click Claim under the unlocked character or accessory of your choice or navigate to the Vault tab to spend your seasonal currency.
💡 Once you've claimed the first reward, you can collect points to unlock the next rewards available in the season.
💡 The more often you use Kahoot! app, the more rewards you'll unlock.
What is the Vault and how does it work?
The Vault is a rotating seasonal shop where you can unlock legacy rewards from previous seasons, including characters, accessories, app icons, and app skins.
- Collect seasonal currency: To unlock items in the Vault, you need special seasonal currency (such as Kleos or Fossils). You earn this currency simply by playing games and progressing through the main reward track.

Rotating rewards: The items available in the Vault refresh every 24 to 48 hours.
