Kahoot! Certification: How to become Kahoot! Certified
Welcome to the Kahoot! Certification program! Whether you are a teacher seeking professional development (PD) credits or a professional wanting to boost engagement, our free, self-paced training courses will help you become a certified Kahoot! expert.
This program is for completing official Kahoot! training courses. If you are looking for attendance certificates from recent events like the Kahoot! EDU Summit, please contact EDUSummit@kahoot.com. We do not provide custom certificates for general platform usage.
What is Kahoot! Certification?
The Kahoot! Certification program offers courses designed to elevate your skills in enhancing engagement and assessing learning. Upon completing a course with a passing score of at least 80%, you will receive:
- Certificates: Printable documents asserting course completion, often used by educators to claim professional development credits.
- Digital badges: Linkable images you can share on social media, add to your email signature, or display on a badge board.

Hello! I have retaken all certification courses numerous times and not once did I receive my diploma or digital badge. I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but nothing would help. I made sure I’m logged in, scored 80% on each of the courses and still nothing. Also, I agreed to receiving emails from Kahoot! in my settings. The only thing I could do was share my badges on Twitter. Can you still email me my diplomas if, as proof, I only have tweets? Kind regards!
I completed Step 1 of the Bronze Certification yesterday and waited until today to complete Step 2. I've answered the questions correctly, but the final step is yet to be unlocked. Is there another 24 hour waiting period?
I’m having a problem very similar! I got a pop screen that stayed I was bronze and that an email would be sent to me but I never received the email.
I need help.
Hello Keshia,
When taking the certification assignments, it's important that you do that with the app and that you are signed into your account with the mobile app. If you pass, get 80% correct, we will email you the certificate and next steps to the email registered on your account.
Please check which email is registered on your account, then the inbox or the spam filter, some have experienced that these emails might have ended up there.
Best

I have not received the email containing the diploma, badge, and a link for the next course. I was logged into the app, and I have checked my spam folder. Is there a wait time between courses?

Same issue.

Still no certificate.
Hi! Same issue, I´ve completed the Silver course twice since I didn´t get my badge and link for the Gold certification. I´ve checked my spam and still no news. Could you please resend?
Hello! Sorry to hear about this issue.
Your Silver certificate should have been sent to the email address associated with your Kahoot! account. Could you please check whether you're checking the same mailbox tied to your Kahoot! account?
If you're still unable to locate it, please go to https://create.kahoot.it/learner and sign in with the same account that was used to take the course. You can see your results and download the certificate there.
1. Open the relevant course.
2. Click three vertical dots in the Course certificate section.
3. Download the certificate.
If you have several accounts associated with different email addresses, log in to https://create.kahoot.it/learner using each one and check all relevant inboxes.
