Kahoot! 360 Enterprise: How to assign and manage content for Limited members
Kahoot! 360 Enterprise empowers organizations to build a culture of continuous learning and scale training securely. By onboarding employees as Limited members, you create a centralized, branded ecosystem where your team can easily access and consume assigned content - without requiring full creator licenses. Providing these employee licenses ensures your team has everything they need for compliance training or onboarding.
Here is everything you need to know about adding, managing, and assigning content to your team effectively!
How do I invite employees to Kahoot!?
Adding your team members is the first step to building your learning ecosystem.
Standard Accounts
- Log in to your Kahoot! account and navigate to Manage members.
- Click Invite users.
- Insert your learners' email addresses, import a CSV, or invite with a unique shareable link. Ensure the default role is set to Limited member.
- Click Send invite.
Accounts with SSO enabled
If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO) without automated provisioning, share your custom Enterprise SSO link (magic link) with your team. They can use this link to log in and automatically join your workspace.
Accounts with Automated Provisioning (SCIM)
If you don't see the "Invite users" button, your organization has Automated Provisioning (SCIM) enabled. Please contact your IT department to add new members via your Identity Provider.
How do I assign content to employees?
Once your employees are onboarded, you can start distributing content! As an owner, admin, or member (creator), you can assign courses, stories, and kahoots directly to your team.
- Navigate to the Kahoot!, course, or story you want to share and click Assign.
- Customize the participant experience.
- Select the specific Group of employees you want to share the content with.
- Click Assign to send the assignment to their workspace.
Where does assigned content live? ("Your learning")
When you assign content to employees, they won't need to dig through their inbox to find it. The Your learning space acts as a personal dashboard for every team member.
- Centralized learning hub: Employees can see all their assigned courses, kahoots, and activities directly in their Your learning space on the left-hand menu. They always know exactly what they need to complete and when.
- No more lost links: Unlike using a Player Identifier where learners must keep track of scattered emails or links, Limited members have everything waiting for them in one secure place.
- Clear progress visibility: Employees can easily track their own progress, distinguish between new assignments and completed training, and jump right back into courses they've started.
How does Kahoot! track progress and reporting?
Monitoring completion rates and performance is critical for Enterprise L&D strategies.
- Stable learning history: Limited members keep a stable, continuous learning history over time for each user. With Player Identifier, learners may enter different emails or IDs each session, which can make tracking inconsistent.
- Advanced analytics: Because Limited members are tied to your organizational workspace, owners and admins can generate comprehensive reports to track engagement, identify knowledge gaps, and prove training ROI.
- Secure employee access via SSO: With Limited members, you can create managed user accounts and fully control access to your content. This provides a level of security and centralized user management that a Player Identifier cannot offer.
What are the Enterprise-grade security and branding features?
- Automated SSO Provisioning: For larger teams, you can automate user management via SSO provisioning and CSV sync. This ensures that only active employees have access to your proprietary training material, automatically revoking access when someone leaves the company.
- Personalized App Branding: Limited members consume content in a secure environment customized with your company’s logo and colors, ensuring a polished, professional internal communication experience.
