Kahoot! Slide sync: How to import slides from Google Slides
Learn how to seamlessly sync your Google Slides presentations with Kahoot! to create interactive and up-to-date presentations. This new integration saves time and keeps your slides and kahoots in sync, eliminating the need for re-uploads.

- Log in to your account.
- Click the Create button on the right side of the top navigation bar.
- Select the Kahoot option from the drop-down menu to make a kahoot.

Select the Import slides option on the pop-up window to import sync slides.
- Click Sync with Google Drive option.

Alternatively, while editing a kahoot, click on the Add slides button and select the Sync with Google Drive option on the pop-up window to import slides from Google Slides.

Log in to your Google account.
- Once you log in to your Google account, select the presentation you would like to upload.
NOTE:
☝️ You can upload one presentation per kahoot.
☝️ A single kahoot can’t exceed 200 questions (each slide counts as a question).
☝️ If you don't have access to the presentation, it won't be uploaded.
☝️ Audios, videos, and animations can't be synced to your presentation. Add a new slide in kahoot for more media.
- Once your slides are imported, you have the option to either add all slides to your Kahoot! or select specific slides for inclusion.
- To make changes to your presentation, simply click the "Edit" button located at the bottom of the screen, which will allow you to modify the content directly in Google Slides.
- Whenever you update your Google Slides presentation, you can effortlessly sync those changes by clicking the "Update" button in the relevant slide. This will ensure that your imported presentation in Kahoot! remains current with the latest version of your slides.
- You can continue to edit your kahoot (you can edit the questions, add media to them, and create more questions).
- Save your game.

Important limitations and troubleshooting
Google Slides restricted fonts limitation
- Google Slide files containing restricted fonts cannot be imported or synced with Kahoot!. You may see a "Slide import failed" error if your file uses restricted fonts.
- This is a known limitation of the converter and applies to both the "Upload" and "Sync" methods.
- Solution: Before importing or syncing, ensure your Google Slide file does not use restricted fonts. Replace restricted fonts with standard, unrestricted fonts in your presentation.
