How do I generate an image using AI?

Adding AI-generated art to your quiz is straightforward. Follow these steps to create your custom media:

  1. When you are editing a question inside the creator, click the + (plus) Find and insert media button.
  2. On the left-side panel, change the media category to Image Creator.
  3. Describe the specific image you want to generate in the search bar located at the top of the window.
  4. Press Enter or click Generate to let the AI create your unique picture.
☝️ This feature is currently available via the web platform only. You cannot generate AI images using the mobile app at this time.

AI Usage Specifications

☝️ If you're the owner of a shared workspace that includes access to AI, you can manage access to the AI features in the workspace's Team settings. Read more: AI access in Team settings.
☝️ It is also possible to manage AI features on an individual level. If automatic AI input is not desired, the AI tools can be disabled directly in the Profile settings.
While AI content-generation services can save you a lot of time, they sometimes provide inaccurate or biased responses or results. Please carefully review any AI-generated content for accuracy before using it.

  1. Can I use the AI image generator on the Kahoot! mobile app? Currently, the AI image generator is available via the web platform only.
     
  2. Why can't I see the AI Generator option in my media panel? If you are part of a shared workspace, the owner may have disabled AI features in the Team settings. They can manage this via the workspace's Team settings panel. The AI image generator is available only in certain plans.
     
  3. Who is responsible for the AI-generated images used in a kahoot? The author of the kahoot is fully responsible for ensuring the AI-generated content is accurate, unbiased, and complies with Kahoot!'s Acceptable Use Policy.
