Kahoot! Slide sync: How to sync slides with Microsoft PowerPoint to your kahoot

How to import slides from Microsoft PowerPoint

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click the Create button on the right side of the top navigation bar.
3. Select the Kahoot option from the drop-down menu to make a kahoot.
   
   
   
4. Select the Import slides option on the pop-up window to import sync slides.
   
   
   
5. Choose Sync with PowerPoint option.
   
   
   
6. Alternatively, while editing a kahoot, click on the Add slides button and select the Import option on the pop-up window to sync slides with PowerPoint.
   
   

   ☝️ Please note, that if you select Upload file option, you will be prompted to import slides from a PowerPoint (.pptx or .ppt), KeyNote (.key), or Adobe PDF (.pdf) file. These slides won't be synced.

   
   
7.  Log in to your Microsoft account.
   
   
   
8. Once you log in, select the presentation you would like to upload from OneDrive/SharePoint.
   
   

   NOTE: ☝️ You can upload one presentation per kahoot. ☝️ A single kahoot can’t exceed 200 questions (each slide counts as a question). ☝️ If you don't have access to the presentation, it won't be uploaded.

   
   
9. Once your slides are imported, you have the option to either add all slides to your Kahoot! or select specific slides for inclusion.
   
   ☝️ You can edit your kahoot while your presentation is importing.
   
   
10. To make changes to your presentation, simply click the "Edit" button located at the bottom of the screen, which will allow you to modify the content directly in PowerPoint.
    
    ☝️ Changes done in the kahoot creator will not be reflected in the original Microsoft PowerPoint document.
    
    
11. Each time you update your Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, just click the "Update" button on the corresponding slide to sync any changes. This ensures that your imported Kahoot! presentation stays up-to-date with the latest version of your slides.
    
    
    ☝️ When you add new slides to your original Microsoft PowerPoint document, they will appear in the "Add Slide" dialog in kahoot after you click "Update all slides". 
    

12. You can continue to edit your kahoot (you can edit the questions, add media to them, and create more questions).

13. Save your game.
