Struggling to find a kahoot or report? Did you know that if you're an owner, admin, or member of a workspace, your personal content and workspace content are located in separate workspaces? This article will show you how to switch between workspaces in our iOS and Android mobile apps.

How to switch workspace

If you have access to more than one workspace, our app will ask you to select a workspace immediately after you open it and sign in. 

Later, if the app is not fully closed (remains open in the background), it will stay in the selected workspace.

If you hard close the app, you will be asked to select the workspace when you reopen it again.

To change the selected workspace, you can click the avatar icon in the top left corner of the Home screen. On the top, you will see icons and names of all your workspaces.

Depending on the current workspace, you will see different content in Library. To quickly change a workspace within that section, click the workspace’s icon in the top left corner. 

Your game will be saved in the workspace where you created it. You have access to a different set of features depending on the subscription associated with the current workspace. 

After accessing the kahoot creator in the app, for a short period of time, you will see a section informing you about the current workspace and allowing you to easily switch it.

How to move kahoots between workspaces

Go to the kahoot you wish to move and click the three vertical dots on the right side to open the menu. Select Move and choose the workspace. 

Note that certain team subscriptions do not allow moving content between workspaces.
