What are the different kahoot visibility options?

Before adjusting your settings, it is important to understand how each visibility level impacts who can find and access your game.

• Public: Your game will appear in search results on the Kahoot! Discover page. Furthermore, services like Facebook, Twitter, and Slack will automatically generate a preview of your title, description, and cover image when you post a share link. 
  • Note: This option is only available for content saved in a private workspace.
     
• Private: Your game will not appear in search results. Players must be signed in to access the game, and you must manually share it with them. 
  • Note: This option is only available in a private workspace. The "Share" button is disabled for Private kahoots. You must change the visibility to Unlisted, Public, or Organization before you can share it with others.
     
• Unlisted: Your game will not appear in public search results, but anyone with the link can play it. This option is available in both private and shared workspaces, depending on your subscription plan.
   
• Organization: Your game will only be visible to other members of your shared workspace and will not appear in public search results.

How do I change kahoot visibility in the Library?

You can quickly update the visibility of an existing game directly from your account library.

How do I make a kahoot public in the creator?

If you are actively building or editing a game, you can adjust the visibility before saving.
