Visibility options
If your kahoot is saved to a personal folder, it can have the following visibility options:
- Public: Your kahoot will appear in search results on the Discover page. Services like Facebook, Twitter, and Slack will preview your kahoot’s title, description, and cover image when you post a share link. This option is available if the kahoot is saved under the personal folder in the Library tab.
- Private: Your kahoot will not appear in search results on the Discover page. You must be signed in to access the kahoot. To give others access, follow these steps to share with others. This option is available if the kahoot is saved under the personal folder in the Library tab.
- Unlisted: (included only in specific subscriptions) Your kahoot will not appear in search results on the Discover page, but you can post a share link anywhere. This option is available if the kahoot is saved in your workspace or under the personal folder in the Library tab.
If your kahoot is saved to a team folder (available only with team subscriptions), it can have the following visibility options:
- Organization: (team subscription required) Your kahoot will be visible only to other members of your shared workspace. It will not appear in search results on the Discover page.
- Unlisted: (included only in specific subscriptions) Your kahoot will not appear in search results on the Discover page, but you can post a share link anywhere. This option is available if the kahoot is saved in your workspace or under the personal folder in the Library tab.
The unlisted visibility option is not included in all the subscriptions. We recommend the Publisher subscription if you need this functionality.
How to change visibility
You can quickly edit your kahoot's visibility from the Library tab, or by using the settings button while editing your kahoot.
- From the Library tab, click on the icon to the right side of your username under the kahoot.
- From the kahoot creator (to access it click "Create" or "Edit" in the Library tab), click the "Settings" button on the top navigation bar.
If your game is stored in the shared workspace's folder you will be restricted to making this game "Unlisted" (if this option is available with your subscription) or visible only to the "Organization". In order to be able to use other visibility options, you need to move your game to the personal folder. Some subscriptions won't allow moving games between workspace and personal folder.

My Kahoot! cannot be found by searching for it by name, only by searching the creator. Why is this and is there any way to fix it?
It would be great if you could default it to select "Only you" so I don't have to change it every time.
Can I stop it from auto saving in student’s app? I don’t want them replaying it after we’ve played.
