This “lock/unlock” a kahoot from my library isn't available.
Does that mean it's a premium feature only? If so, that is beyond greedy and silly.
Hi LupeEFL! The possibility to lock and unlock your kahoot is only available for user who are added to Kahoot! Team Workspace and have a Team plan with 2 and more licenses. If you have one individual license or Free Basic plan, this feature is not available within your plan.
Thanks. I suggest you make this information available in the upgrade chart then.
I am a student, and this is very annoying, because I'm trying to do a group project, and it's giving us many complications just because we have to pay for it.
Hi abbydeadman! Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that unexpected costs can be a challenge, especially for students working on collaborative assignments.
Kahoot! does offer a free basic plan, but some features and higher participant limits are included in paid plans. We appreciate how important flexibility is for students, and your feedback is valuable as we continue to review our options and improve the experience. If you’re running into specific issues or if there’s a particular feature you need for your project, please let us know here - our team may be able to suggest alternatives or help you find the best solution for your group’s needs.
Hi Anna,
A quick question please!
If a Kahoot is locked by an admin, would teachers be able to duplicate/share it/ export it to their private library?
Hello Omar_BenJilali, If kahoot is locked by an admin, teachers will not be able to edit it or make any changes to it. If you want to give your workspace members editing access to your kahoot, open options and click Unlock.
Thanks a lot for the reply Kasia. Does that mean that teachers can still duplicate the Kahoot? (That,is when it is locked by an admin)?
That was NOT Omar_BenJilali's question, he asked if we can DUPLICATE/SHARE/EXPORT. That is COMPLETELY different from EDITING.
So which is it? Can we duplicate/share/export or not? You answered something that was not asked.
Hello Omar_BenJilali, Teachers will be able to duplicate locked kahoots and edit their copies.
And is there a way duplication can be disabled?
Hi @Omar_BenJilali!
Yes, there's an option Allow duplication (available with certain plans).
This option allows you to decide whether you want to allow other Kahoot!'ers to copy your game. Read more about changing kahoot settings here: How to change kahoot settings.
Which plans offer duplication-prevention features, and is this feature available in the Bronze plan?
Hello, the "prevent duplication" feature is not available in the Bronze plan. This feature is primarily designed for organizations and specific high-tier plans to ensure that only the creator, admin, or team members with edit access can duplicate a kahoot.
