Kahoot! courses: Host live
If you select the Host live option, you'll be taken to a screen where you can choose the session's settings. Once you click Start live you'll be able to start each kahoot from the online course as a live game or play all the kahoots in a sequence (click the Start button in the top right corner).
Kahoot! courses: Assign
💡 SCHOOL TEACHERS 💡
Assigning courses requires one of the Kahoot! EDU plans and agreeing to Kahoot! collecting student information.
Otherwise, K-12 teachers are limited to hosting online courses as live sessions.
If you select the Assign option, you'll see the settings panel where you can determine the session's time frame, visibility, and other prerequisites. As the next step, you can share the session via QR code, link, or assign it directly to learners.
Depending on your plan and account type, you have the possibility to send automated reminders. Course reminders are sent based on the length of the course:
-
No reminder is sent if the course duration is 3 days or less.
-
A reminder is sent 3 days after the course start date if the course duration is more than 4 days but less than 7 days.
-
A reminder is sent 7 days after the course start date if the course duration is 7 days or longer.
This ensures reminders are sent at appropriate times, based on the expected learning pace.
Later you can share and assign online course to the learners in the Ongoing sessions section of the course and in the Reports section.
Kahoot! courses: Study
If you select the Study option, you'll be taken to a single-player game mode. You can go through the online course at your own pace and resume whenever you need in the Your learning section of the Home page.
