FAQ
-
What’s the difference between Assign, Share, and Present for a Kahoot! story?
Use Assign when you want learners to complete the story on their own within a specific timeframe and you need trackable completion data.
Use Share when you only need to give people access to the story itself (for example via intranet, link, QR code, or email) without tying it to a specific deadline or assignment report.
Use Present when you guide everyone through the story together in a live meeting, workshop, or webinar.
-
When should I share a story instead of assigning it?
Use Share when you just want people to access or read the story at their own pace, for example from an intranet article, LMS content page, or internal newsletter, and you don’t need a dedicated assignment and deadline.
This is ideal for evergreen resources like policy explainers or product updates that you still want to keep in one place in your Library.

How do workspaces affect who can see, duplicate, or share my stories?
Each workspace (private or team) has its own Library, Stories, and Reports views, and content access depends on the workspace you’re currently in.
In a team workspace, owners and admins can manage shared content and roles, while members and limited members may have restricted abilities to move or duplicate stories between workspaces.
