How to play Kahoot! with video conferencing?

We call this way of playing “connected Kahoot!’ing.” In essence, it means playing a live game of Kahoot!, but with players or groups of participants in another location – home, different campus, even different country. Participants use Kahoot! with an online video conferencing tool (with screen sharing capability) to facilitate this. Here are the basic tools you’ll need:

1. A webcam, so other participants can see you.
2. Video conferencing tool, for example, free options such as MS Teams or Zoom.
3. Ability to share your screen – most video conferencing tools offer this ability.

We currently offer Kahoot! integration with MS Teams and Zoom. We encourage you to check out those integrations but you will be able to host games with most of the video conferencing software available on the market.

The host can use the option: Kahoot! live game: see questions on player's screen so that players don't have to switch between screens.
