How to create a Kahoot! pin answer question

1. Start creating a kahoot.
2. Click the Add question button on the left-side panel and select the Pin answer option from the list.
3. Type your question at the top of the creator. Make sure that the answer to the question can be marked on an image.
   For example:
   

   • Where is the Eiffel Tower located in Paris? Pin the answer on a map of Paris.

   • Where is the Orion Nebula located in the night sky? Pin the answer on a star map.

   • Where is the oil filter located in this car engine? Pin the answer on an image of the car engine.

   • Which part of this plant is the stamen? Pin the answer on an image of the plant.

4. Select or upload an image.
   
   
5. Click the Correct area button in the bottom left corner of the image. Choose the marker on the left side panel and mark the area of the image that will be considered the correct answer during the game.
   
   
6. Click Save.
7. Select the time limit and points on the right-side panel.
   💡 You can choose from 30 seconds to 4 minutes.
   💡 Make you give enough time for your players to consider their responses.
   
8. Save your kahoot.

How to host a Kahoot! pin answer question

1. Start hosting the kahoot with the pin answer question.
2. The question will be presented on the host’s screen. Tip:
   
   

3. Players need to find the correct answer on the image and mark it with a pin. To do that, they drag and drop the image. The pin does not move.
    

4. When the time is up, players’ answers are displayed on the main screen.
