Family account: how to invite/remove members

How to invite family members

The first space from the top in the left-side panel is your private space. You cannot add more members to this section. Once you subscribe to a plan that includes a Family space, you will see a new space on the panel where new members can be added.

☝️ It's not possible to have more than 5 members in Family space.

1. Go to your Family space via the left-side panel on our platform.
2. Click the Invite users button in the top right corner. It is visible only to the owner of the Family space.
   
   Alternatively, click the avatar icon in the top right corner of the screen, select the Manage users option from the list, and click the Invite users button.
3. You'll be presented with two ways to invite more members:
   
   • Enter email addresses
   • Import user emails

Enter email addresses

To invite members, just add their email addresses (separated by commas) in the Enter email addresses box and click Send invite. Invites are one-time use, valid for up to 7 days.

Import user emails

You can add or edit users by importing a CSV file with their info in the following format: name@example.com, name. Download our CSV template or XLSX to make sure you are using the correct format for importing emails. Invites are for one-time use, valid for up to 7 days.

1. Select a CSV or XLSX file or drag it to the file box on your screen.
   
2. Click Send invite.
   

How to remove family members

The first workspace from the top in the left-side panel is your private workspace. You cannot add or remove members from this section. Once you subscribe to a plan that includes a shared workspace, you will see a new workspace on the panel where new members can be added.

1. Go to your Family space via the left-side panel on our platform.
2. Click the avatar icon in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select the Manage users option from the list.
4. Find the relevant username in the list of members on the Manage users page, click the three vertical dots, and use the Remove button.
   

Family account: how to join as a member

If you received one of our email invitations like the one pictured below, then an owner of Family space invited you to their space. Accepting will immediately let you join with an existing account.

• Invite links are one-time use, valid for up to 7 days. If your link expires for any reason, contact the person who invited you so they can send you a new invite.

Drops: How to activate the subscription

When you subscribe to Kahoot!+ One or One Max, you’ll receive a welcome email explaining how to get Drops Premium.

1. Click "Unlock Premium" button.
2. Sign up or Log in to Drops account.
3. Enter the code to unlock Premium access.
