How do I log in to Kahoot! account on the web?

  1. Go to kahoot.com
  2. Click Log in (top right).
  3. Enter your email + password or click continue with Google, Microsoft, Apple, or Clever.
  4. If prompted, enter the verification code sent to your email.
  5. Once logged in, you'll land on Kahoot! dashboard.

FAQ: Logging to Kahoot! account

  1. I’m a young student, can I log in with my email?
    Young Students cannot log in using their emails. They can log in only via usernames and passwords or the SSO provider used to create the account. Young Students can connect to SSO only upon account creation.

     
  2. Do I need an account to join a game?
    No, you can join with just a game PIN and nickname - no login required.

     
  3. I don’t remember a password to my Kahoot! account, what should I do?
    In case you don’t remember your password or username, click the Reset your password option on Kahoot! login page.
     
  4. Can I log into my Kahoot! account with SSO (Single Sign On)?
    Yes, you can log in to Kahoot! Account using SSO. Click Continue with Google, Microsoft, Apple, or Clever on the login page. If your Kahoot account was not created with that provider, the system will ask if you want to link your account. To link, enter your Kahoot password and click Log in. After linking, you can log in directly using your chosen SSO provider.

  5. Why am I asked to verify my email or told I’m on an unrecognized device when loggin in to Kahoot! account?
    This happens when your Kahoot! account is accessed from multiple devices. Kahoot! accounts are meant for individual use, so sharing logins can trigger these messages. If you’re the account owner, verify your email and avoid sharing your credentials. If multiple people need access, consider a team subscription so each user has their own account.
